A.I.M. Program Targets Career Success for Students

Kynlee Davis, Reporter

What Is A.I.M? Apprenticeship, Internship, mentorship, are the key principles and foundation of the program. 20 Sophomores from all three Lawton Public Schools high schools and Gateway, who have the potential to lead are chosen by application to participate in the program.

Students who are chosen partake in leadership training based off of Junior Leadership Lawton, and other fun events that include going to the work site to get hands-on experience, and they practice for and attend a formal dinner in early February. The program provides a great opportunity for young leaders to meet new people and advance in their leadership skills. For more information about the A.I.M. program, see your counselor.
