The Lawton District Swim Team recently made a strong showing at the Southwest Area Championship meet and saw an Eisenhower High swim record shattered. Eisenhower junior Dalton Sawyer broke the EHS record for the Boys’ 100 Meter Backstroke. Sawyer said that the previous record was 58.71 seconds. He swam the 100 Meter Backstroke in 58 seconds.
“I feel good about it,” Sawyer said. “It was a good race.”
