Beak Week Preview

     Join Eisenhower in participating in Beak Week, March 3-9.  Wondering about themes and how to dress for this year’s Beak Week? This teaser will tell you all about it.

The overall theme for this year’s Beak Week is “Road Trip.” Outfits for all dress-up days must be school-appropriate.

Here are the events for Beak Week:

  • For the week of Feb. 28 through March 4, all 5th hour classes will compete in a canned food drive. Do you want to give to charity and eat pizza at the same time? Donate canned foods to your 5th hour class. The 5th hour class that donates the most will win a pizza party.
  • Thursday, March 3 – Opening Ceremony/Mr. and Miss EHS ($2 entry), 8:45-10 a.m., during 2nd and 3rd hours. This day will be “Travel Wear Thursday,”  which means wear comfortable clothes.
  • Friday, March 4 – Donkey Basketball Game ($7 advance tickets/ $10 at the door).  This day will be “Florida Friday,” which means wear tropical clothing, gear and accessories.
  • Saturday, March 5 – Spring Fling Dance in the Commons Area from 8-11 p.m. 
  • Monday, March 7 – Student Versus Faculty Dodgeball game ($2 entry), during 8th hour.  This day will be “Minnesota Monday,” which means dress warm. Wear cold-weather clothing and accessories.
  • Tuesday, March 8 – Student Talent Show ($2 entry), during 4th hour. This day will be “Texas Tuesday,” which means wear boots, jeans and other Western clothing.
  • Wednesday, March 9 – Closing Ceremony (entire school attends for free), during 4th hour.  This day will be “Washington Wednesday,” which means wear red, white and blue, along with other patriotic accessories.
