Students Visit Langston University

Selected sophomores from Eisenhower High School went on a field trip to Langston University, March 22 with EHS Assistant Principal Jerri Manning. The trip allowed them to tour the university and learn more about college life and educational opportunities after high school. The trip was paid for with an educational grant from GEAR UP. A group of Eisenhower High School freshmen took a field trip to Langston University, Tuesday March 8. The event was paid for with a GEAR UP grant that allowed the students to learn about college life, and specifically what Langston University, Oklahoma’s historically African-American university, has to offer. The students toured the campus and heard from speakers about opportunities. EHS Assistant Principal Jerri Manning oversaw the trip. (Jerri Manning)
